Michael Carroll grew up in Ireland and has worked as a telegram boy, postman and computer programmer. A lifelong fan of superheroes, he now lives in Dublin with his wife Leonie.

Michael Carroll grew up in Ireland and has worked as a telegram boy, postman and computer programmer. A lifelong fan of superheroes, Michael’s hobbies include collecting comics, listening to music, eating breakfast cereals out of the box, worrying whether it’s going to rain, going to the shops to buy tins of pineapple chunks and making up lists of strange hobbies. He has been an editor of the Irish Science Fiction Association magazine, FTL, and a member of the executive committee of the Irish Writers’ Union. He has published a number of science fiction, fantasy and adult romance novels in Ireland and the US, but THE NEW HEROES is his first British publication. He lives in Dublin with his wife Leonie.
