Tolkien Reading Day

Tolkien Reading Day is held on the 25th of March every year. The date was chosen as the date on which the Ring was destroyed in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, completing Frodo’s quest and vanquishing Sauron.

The Tolkien Society will be hosting a number of events on the day, including readalongs and social media conversations, happening with the hashtag #TolkienReadingDay2023
